EraMe is an iOS photo transformation app that uses AI to reimagine a user-selected portrait in different era-inspired visual styles, including retro 1980s-style looks. The app processes only the photo you choose through the iOS system photo picker when you start a transformation. When you request a transformation, the selected photo and style instruction may be sent to fal.ai infrastructure so the requested era-inspired image can be generated. If a user-selected photo contains a face, EraMe processes only the face pixels contained in that photo and the corresponding AI-transformed output. Face pixels are used only to transform the visual appearance of the selected portrait into the era/style requested by the user and to display the corresponding before/after result. The selected photo is transmitted to fal.ai (Features & Labels, Inc.), where the requested image transformation model is executed. EraMe does not store photos or face data on developer-operated servers. In the current described implementation, successful original and generated images may remain only on the user's device in local History until deleted by the user, automatically replaced by newer results, removed with the app, or cleared by iOS. EraMe uses the iOS system photo picker, so you choose the specific image the app can access. Request payload storage and generated media lifetime at fal.ai depend on the app's production configuration and fal.ai's supported controls. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, handle follow-up questions, and protect legitimate records, then deleted or minimized when no longer needed.
