NoseMirror is an iOS photo preview app that uses AI to create nose appearance previews from photos you choose or capture. NoseMirror does not require email registration, a password, social login, or Sign in with Apple. When needed for an AI request, Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous technical user account with a unique user ID. This is a server-side authentication record even though you do not enter a name or email address. Anonymous does not mean that technical activity cannot be associated with this ID. These support authentication, app integrity checks, abuse prevention, and reliability. The app does not request location, contacts, or microphone access, and does not use advertising identifiers or third-party advertising SDKs. Face pixels are used only to locate and visually adjust the relevant nose/face region, apply the user's selected style and preference answers, and generate the requested preview. The photo and generation instructions are sent over HTTPS from NoseMirror to Firebase Cloud Functions on Google Cloud, then to fal.ai (Features & Labels, Inc.) for Google's Gemini 3.1 Flash Image Preview model. The result returns through the function to the app. Google model infrastructure may also process the content through fal.ai's provider arrangements. Our function processes image content during the request without writing it to Firestore or Firebase Storage. This does not mean the image never leaves your device or that providers retain no copies. Original photos and generated previews may remain in the local preview library on the user's device until deleted in the app, removed with the app, or cleared by the operating system. NoseMirror asks for camera access only so you can take a photo for a preview. The app does not automatically scan your full photo library. Creating a preview transmits the prepared JPEG photo, selected style, preference answers, and generation parameters to Firebase Cloud Functions. The server validates the request and assembles the editing instructions sent with the photo to fal.ai. Refining a preview sends the previous generated image and your refinement instructions. The current model is Google's Gemini 3.1 Flash Image Preview, accessed through fal.ai. The backend requests one image at 1K resolution with web search disabled. Submitting a photo for third-party AI processing is optional. Review the providers, purpose, retention, and deletion information before deciding to submit; if you do not agree, do not start generation or refinement. Camera/photo-library permission and acceptance of these Terms do not replace explicit permission for sharing with third-party AI. Google Cloud receives the photo and request content for backend processing. fal.ai receives the photo and assembled editing instructions, including relevant style choices and preference answers, to obtain the requested Gemini output. Firebase Authentication and App Check handle identity and attestation information for security. Firebase retains the anonymous authentication record until deletion is initiated. Google documents a deletion process of up to 180 days for authentication information across live and backup systems after the associated user is deleted. App Check/attestation tokens and operational logs follow service-specific lifetimes, security requirements, and configured retention; the function's execution timeout is not a log-retention period.Firebase anonim kimlik doğrulama kaydını silme başlatılana kadar tutar. You can delete local previews, clear the local library and selected photo in Settings, manage separate Photos copies, and manage subscriptions in Apple ID/App Store settings.
